About Michelangelo Gigli.
I am a political fundraising, election campaign and civic mobilisation consultant. I raise money for parties, election and referendum campaigns and civil rights organisations, between Rome and Brussels, and I use AI to build the data tools I then work with.
In short.
I work on fundraising for the Associazione Luca Coscioni, the pan-European movement Eumans and the Italian party +Europa. In 2025 I led fundraising for the Italian Citizenship Referendum committee; before that I worked on the election campaigns of Marco Cappato (Senate by-election, 2023) and Antonella Soldo (European elections, 2024).
My job is getting resources to people fighting a political battle: fundraising plans with targets and deadlines, small online and recurring donations, major donors, tax designations, petitions and signature drives that turn into supporter lists. When the tools did not exist, I built them: open databases, CRMs, petitions in 27 languages.

What does a political fundraising consultant do?
